For opening ceremonies at the Ritz Taipei Hotel, we designed gift soap for the guests. The traditional Chinese ceremonial dragon, normally carved from jade or soap stone, was molded for the first time from soap for the design.
After the hotel opened, other soap companies copied the design to sell in gift stores throughout the country, and it is now a popular souvenir in the Republic of China.
The soap is placed in guest room baths before each arrival and reflects the attention to detail the hotel is famous for.
